  • How often should I my dog be groomed?
The frequency of grooming largely depends on your dog's breed, coat type, and lifestyle. In general, most dogs benefit from regular grooming every 4 to 8 weeks. Breeds with long or dense coats may require more frequent grooming, while short-haired breeds might need less frequent visits. Please feel free to call me on 07842 576080 to determine the ideal grooming schedule for your dog.
  • How much does grooming cost?
When it comes to the cost of dog grooming, it's essential to understand that it's not just about trimming your dog's fur – it's a bit like going to the hairdresser! The price of grooming services covers a lot more than just a haircut. It includes the use of premium, pet-friendly products, specialised equipment, and, most importantly, the expertise and care of a trained groomer. Just as your hairdresser considers your unique hair type, a professional dog groomer takes into account your pet's breed, coat condition, and individual needs.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
My cancellation policy is designed to be fair to all of my clients and to ensure that I can accommodate appointments for everyone. I understand that sometimes unexpected events can occur. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice. This allows me to adjust my schedule and offer the time slot to another client. For cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, a cancellation fee may apply. I appreciate your understanding, and I'm always here to assist with any scheduling adjustments or questions you may have.

While I'll always do my best to accommodate last-minute requests and squeeze in your dog, I highly recommend booking in advance to ensure you secure your preferred time slot. Additionally, booking your next appointment after each session is a great way to ensure you never miss out on the grooming care your pet deserves and avoids any disappointment. Preparing your dog for their grooming appointment is important to ensure their comfort. I recommend regular brushing and coat maintenance between grooming sessions to reduce the risk of matting. However, if your dog arrives with severely matted fur that's too painful to brush, I may need to clip off the matted areas to avoid distress or discomfort during the grooming process. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I appreciate your help in keeping their coat in good condition between appointments I'm delighted to offer guidance on proper brushing techniques and recommend suitable brushes for your needs.

Yes, I do offer teeth cleaning as an additional service. Maintaining your dog's dental health is essential for their overall well-being, and I can include this as part of your grooming appointment. I don't provide anal gland expression services. This should be handled by a veterinarian to ensure it's done safely and appropriately. If you have any questions about these or other services, please feel free to ask, and I'll be happy to assist.
  • What safety measures do you have in place to ensure the well-being of the dogs in your care?
The safety and well-being of the dogs in my care are my top priorities. I maintain a safe and comfortable environment in which every pet can feel relaxed during their grooming session. I take several precautions, including gentle handling techniques, well-maintained grooming equipment, and a close eye on each dog's condition throughout the process.
